SEASON’S GREETINGS EVERYONE!!!

me start by bidding Welcome to our newest newsletter
recipients including our newest customers and
associates that are receiving our newsletter for the
first time.
Welcome!
And to those customers that I had the privilege of
talking to on the phone and taking your orders, I
want to say how much I enjoyed talking with you. If
any of our customers tried to contact us by phone
and got voicemail then I am sorry that we didn’t get
a chance to talk with you. However, we have found
that we are able to reply to emails much faster
because we can check our email wherever we may be
with a computer. And this season we have been on
the go a LOT trying to get our customers all taken
care of!
I have SO MUCH to tell you, but I did promise in my
last newsletter to keep this one short, so I will
(try).
It is Saturday afternoon, Dec. 10, things finally
settled down a little so that I could compose Our
Knickknacks monthly newsletter and it is amazing how
much faster the Internet is moving right now. I
wanted to get a jump on the time frame since Monday,
Dec. 12, is the date we were recommending that
everyone get their orders in to be sure they could
have them before Christmas. I think UPS and the
Post Office have been pretty much overwhelmed, too,
with all of the Internet shopping this season. And
just to let you know, our warehouse will be closed
on Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 26, so that
everyone can spend the Holiday weekend with their
families. Shipments will resume on Tuesday, Dec.
27, but you can still shop Our Knickknacks online
throughout the entire weekend and we will still
reply to emails as soon as we can.
Wow, have we been busy! Internet sales were
amazing this year. Our wonderful candle lady,
Michelle, received so many orders that she got
backlogged and ran out of 5oz Mini-Jars and some
supplies. But the GOOD NEWS for our candle
customers is that the orders are getting done with
the usual personal attention that Michelle always
gives to her candles. You will be receiving them
soon and we certainly appreciate your patience. I
know you are going to love the wonderfully rich
fragrance of our Soy wax Candles and I hope you will
tell all of your friends about them.
Our candles have won over even the toughest of
sells; our office LandLady wasn’t interested in
candles at all until I let her smell our
Apple Cinnamon Teddy Bear Jar
and told her of the
benefits of Soy wax candles.
She wanted that very candle then came back later and
ordered 12 French Vanilla
2oz Votives
to give as Christmas Gifts – Great Choice! Another
one of my favorite customers walked into our
showroom and I opened my favorite Strawberry
5oz Mini-Jar candle
and said “Smell This!” She ordered 2 of them and
later added a 16oz Apple Cinnamon
Large Candle Jar
to her order.
And several of my associates have purchased the
always popular
Dipped Teddy Bears
to give as Gifts to their customers. The Dipped
Teddy Bears are Great because they can go where you
cannot or should not have lit candles, such as
Hospitals, Nursing Homes, some business offices and
baby’s room, etc. Now, I know that it is hard to
decide to buy candles over the Internet when you
can’t really smell them and that is why I suggest
ordering our
2oz Votive Candles
in our 6 or 12 candle set with different fragrances
that you would like to try before ordering a
Large jar Candle.
I guess if I want to become a millionaire, I will
have to develop Smell-net for the Internet. Okay,
getting back to the Real world now…
Wrought iron is a BIG seller this season with the
most popular items being the
Christmas Stocking Hangers,
Wreath Hangers
and the
Key Holders.
I guess that once people found out how versatile the
Key Holders were, they went like wildfire and the
Antique Key Holder,
which is Karen’s favorite, Sold Out. (Karen is our
Marketing and Promotions VP, as well as my wife
J
). People have been buying the Christmas Stocking
Hangers 5 and 6 at a time and, so far, the only
style that is Sold Out is the Snowflake design. We
KNEW those would be popular! ALL of our Weather
Vanes have been Sold Out as well as our New
Double-Triple Curtain Brackets which were VERY
Popular this season. Don’t dispair though, we will
have stock again as soon as possible, they just
won’t be in time for Christmas delivery.
